About Tire Rack Retail Installation Center

Providing world-class retail sales and tire installation services for passenger and light truck tires, including mounting, balancing, tire repair, and rotation. Offering a wide range of vehicle accessories, including suspension, brakes, wipers, and charging solutions.

Located at 7101 Vorden Pkwy, South Bend, IN 46628, Tire Rack Retail Installation Center operates as a wheel and rim shop serving South Bend in Indiana. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

I had an appointment for tires at 10:30 A.M. for tires and my vehicle didn't even get into the shop until 11:45 A.M. in total I was the for a total of 2 hours. Every other time I have been there I was in and out in less than an hour.

I arrived at 9:15 AM because I didn’t realize that the time zone changes about 20 minutes from Chicago, moving one hour ahead. I left at 7:40 AM, and what should have been a 25-minute drive turned into an arrival time of around 9:15–9:20 AM. Even though I was late, they checked me in and accepted the delivery. However, I ended up sitting here for 6 hours. They unloaded me in about 4 hours, but I have been waiting another 2 hours just to get my paperwork. I asked 5 or 6 times what the issue was and why my paperwork had not been released, but the staff simply ignored my questions. Their attitude toward truck drivers was very unprofessional. Because of this delay, I missed my next load and lost both time and money. Very disappointing experience.

Mounting tires on new wheels and balancing. I bring my stuff in loose and drop off. Always quick. I wanted to minimize weights, so they adjusted tire position to optimize both weights and ground force. Courtland, Chelsea and Nichole were very friendly and helpful.

I have been buying from here for a few years, but just recently I had my worst buying experience ever. I went in in person to speak with a sales person and was told nobody was available to talk to me and to go online. I called Customer Service got my order going and the guy I was talking to on the phone somehow shipped my rims to Delaware so I had to wait a whole another week for them to come back from Delaware. And I was charged another 80 something dollars after the rims had to be shipped back from Delaware. They said it was because of sales tax but I don’t buy it. This whole thing has been absolutely ridiculous. I doubt I’ll be doing business with them again.

First time visiting here and my experience was well worth the visit. I appreciate the updates via text during the initial pick up check in. I also enjoyed being able to watch the service get done from their nice waiting area which has complimentary coffee and snacks. Thought it was pretty cool to see some sort of time trials going on at the track too. I bought tires from here based on word of mouth and price and selection. I really like how my new tires look. Hard to believe that this is owned by the same company that broke a stud off the same tire twice on my truck before. I think I found my new tire installation center.
